The configuration method of the user equipment information includes: controlling the user equipment to switch from RRC connection state to RRC inactive state, determining a wireless notification region for representing a collection of one or more cells, and moving the user equipment in RRC inactive state between cells in the wireless notification region. Cell switching is not required; user equipment information of the user equipment is transmitted to all base stations in the wireless notification area. The disclosed technical scheme can synchronously configure the user equipment information of the UE in the non-active state of RRC to other base stations in the wireless notification area, so that the base stations in the wireless notification area can accurately and effectively determine the RC status of the UE and improve the transmission efficiency of the service data between the base station and the user equipment.
